Melatonin
Description
It promotes sleep by decreasing
sleep disorders cycles and by releasing a direct soporific
outcome, namely when taken during the day. However,
it is recommended that melatonin supplements should
be taken in the evening. Research also shows that
Melatonin affects the immune response to cancer, possibly
by creating effects on cytokines, which inhibit the
growth of tumors by killing infected cells. Biological
production and release of melatonin by the pineal
gland are cyclical, with increased levels at night
and lower levels in the day.

Suggested Use for Melatonin
One tablet at bedtime; one half-tablet may be sufficient
for some people. Do not more than two tablets daily
unless recommended by your physician.
Warning for Melatonin
For adult use only. Not for use by children, teenagers,
breastfeeding, or pregnant women. If you are under medical
supervision, or have an autoimmune disease, diabetes,
a depressive disorder, a thyroid condtition, epilepsy,
leukemia, or lymphoproliferative disorder, or are taking
MAO inhibitor drugs or corticosteriods such as cortisol
or prednisone, consult with you physician before taking
this product.
